Hi, I’m Jean—owner and dyer behind Juni & Si Yarns, based in my Snoqualmie, Washington home. I believe the right song and a perfect skein of yarn can change your whole day.

Founded in 2021, Juni & Si Yarns began as a curiosity about the dyeing process and quickly blossomed into a full-blown creative passion. Each colorway is named after a song that’s personally meaningful or irresistibly danceable—because color and music both have the power to stir the soul.

The name Juni & Si comes from my grandchildren, Juniper and Silas. Our logo, designed by my oldest child, features a sprig of Juniper and Mt. Si, a local landmark that reminds me daily of where this journey began.

Juni & Si is dedicated to creating a shopping experience where everyone, regardless of race, gender, or sexual orientation, feels welcomed and respected. Our goal is to ensure all customers, including those in the LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities, are treated with dignity and equality.

I would also like to acknowledge that my business exists on the native land of the Snoqualmie people. We pay honor and respect to these folks including their contributions to the arts we're celebrating.
